Ingredients

  • ½ cup espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips or to taste
  • Ice see notes
  • Whipped cream optional, for topping

Instructions

  • Combine the espresso, milk, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, and ice in a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.

  • Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream and additional chocolate syrup, if desired. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Ice: I used about 1½ cups of ice but use anywhere from 1-2 cups depending on how thick you like your Frappuccino.
  • Want even more coffee flavor? Instead of regular ice cubes, use frozen coffee cubes instead.
  • I love topping my frap with whipped cream and chocolate syrup, just like they do at Starbucks. However, you can add so much more! Chocolate shavings, chocolate chips, and sprinkles will be tasty on top.
  • Want it even creamier? Add just a splash of heavy whipping cream to your blender.
  • This drink is best served as soon as it’s made-- I don’t recommend making it in advance.
