Fine-Mesh Sieve
1¾ cups all-purpose flour 210 grams ¼ cup cornstarch 28 grams
The recipe makes a 2-cup serving. If you’d like to have more cake flour, you can double or triple the ingredients.
Cake flour is lighter than all-purpose flour and creates deliciously light and fluffy baked goods.
Be sure to mix the ingredients well and sift the mixture before storing.
Be sure to put the mixture in an airtight container to keep it fresh. You won’t need to put the container in the fridge, but you can if you'd like.
Make sure your cornstarch is fresh. This will give your best cake flour possible.
Storage: Store homemade cake flour in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 year or in the refrigerator or freezer indefinitely.
