Notes

*Use your favorite apples! The apples are the star of the show, so you want to use apples your family loves. I like to do a 50-50 mix of red and green apples. Granny Smith is my favorite green apple, and Gala is my favorite red.
**For a slightly less sweet version, you can simply microwave some peanut butter until softened. I like using one with just peanuts and salt as the ingredients to help contrast all the sweetness.
Tips:
  • To quickly slice the apples, use an apple corer/slicer. I like the ones that slice the apple into 12 pieces rather than 8, since they're a more manageable nacho size.
  • Get creative with toppings! Other toppings I like include sweetened shredded coconut, colorful sprinkles, mini M&M's, mini marshmallows, and chopped peanuts!
  • For extra fall flavor, sprinkle cinnamon or cinnamon-sugar over top just before serving.
  • Nutritional information does not include optional ingredients.
Storage: Store apple nachos in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
