Add all ingredients to a blender container, then blend until smooth. Add more liquid, ice, or fruit until your desired thickness is achieved. (If using fresh strawberries, use more ice!)
Add optional add-ins as desired and blend again to combine.
½ cup Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, 1 scoop protein powder
Notes
The consistency of the smoothie may be slightly thicker if you use whole milk. However, I think this smoothie is delicious made with milk, plant-based milk, coconut water, or regular water.
Feel free to add Greek yogurt, protein powder, or chia seeds to amp up this healthy smoothie! These ingredients will also help thicken the smoothie.
You can easily change up this simple strawberry banana recipe by using different fruits. Keep the banana to achieve that creamy consistency, but feel free to swap out the strawberries for blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, or pitted cherries. Or add them all!
Nutritional information does not include optional add-ins.
Storage: Store a strawberry banana smoothie in the refrigerator for up to 1 day or in the freezer for up to 1 month.
