Notes

*For a gluten-free dessert, swap for gluten-free graham crackers. You can also use crushed cookie pieces or animal crackers.
**Be sure to use sweetened condensed milk (it has added sugar for a sweeter flavor, plus a thicker consistency), not evaporated milk (which is unsweetened and thin).
***You can use semi-sweet, dark, or milk chocolate chips.
****Peanut butter chips can be swapped for butterscotch/caramel chips; or use more chocolate chips.
Becky's Top tips:
  • A cast iron skillet works much better than a glass dish, or other non-stick skillet options.
  • Bake this dip on the center rack to avoid burning.
  • The layer of graham crackers on the bottom adds classic s'mores texture, but it also creates a barrier between the baking chips and the pan. This helps prevent sticking or burning.
Storage: Leftover s'mores dip can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
