My 5-ingredient s’mores dip recipe is the quickest way to get a family-friendly dessert on weeknights — no campfire required! I baked layers of chocolate chips, marshmallows, and crushed graham crackers together in a skillet to create this rich, gooey dessert dip in just 15 minutes. I even snuck in some peanut butter because my kids love it, and now everyone is hooked!

Oven-baked S’mores Dessert Dip
Everyone is obsessed with s’mores at my house, which is why I’ve made everything from a s’mores quesadilla to my favorite s’mores bars (and there’s a lot more where that came from). I personally love the ease of a dessert dip, and classic s’mores ingredients seemed like they were made for this. The crushed graham crackers create a crispy layer on the bottom, followed by a sweet mixture of chocolate and peanut butter, then finished with a gooey layer of mini marshmallows.
I always broil these baked skillet s’mores at the end to give them that campfire flavor, then serve with cookies and more graham crackers. It’s the perfect size for the whole family, so everyone gets to dip in after dinner for a bit of yum.

Notes
- A cast iron skillet works much better than a glass dish, or other non-stick skillet options.
- Bake this dip on the center rack to avoid burning.
- The layer of graham crackers on the bottom adds classic s’mores texture, but it also creates a barrier between the baking chips and the pan. This helps prevent sticking or burning.
How to Make S’mores Dip in the Oven Step by Step
Prep: Gather the list of ingredients for this easy s’mores dip recipe. Preheat the oven to 300°F and prepare a cast iron skillet. Break and crush up the graham cracker sheets into small pieces.

Combine the Baking Chips: In a small bowl, combine ⅓ cup of sweetened condensed milk with ½ teaspoon of finely ground sea salt. Then stir in 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips and 1 cup of peanut butter baking chips, until fully coated in the milk.

Layer the Ingredients: Add 6 crushed up graham crackers to the bottom of an 8-inch cast iron skillet. Then spread the chocolate and peanut butter chip mixture over the graham crackers.

Bake the Dip: Spread 2 cups of mini marshmallows in an even layer, on top of the baking chips. Bake s’mores dip on the center rack of the oven for 10 minutes. Then turn the oven to broil, and broil until the marshmallows turn golden brown; about 2-3 minutes. Broiling is optional, but it’s a simple step that gives the s’mores a better texture and flavor.

Serve: Serve skillet s’mores while hot, with graham crackers, cookies, or fruit to dip!

How to Store and Reheat
S’mores dip is best served immediately after making it. However, leftovers can be stored in an airtight container, in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. To reheat, add a splash of milk and heat in the oven at 300°F for 5-10 minutes.
