My no-bake golden grahams s’mores bars are the kind of summer treat I can whip up with my kids anytime! Gooey marshmallows, melt-y chocolate, and crunchy Golden Grahams cereal combine into the most delicious campfire-inspired treat in just 15 minutes. All I have to do is mix together 4 ingredients, then pop it in the fridge to set. So easy and delicious!

S’mores Treat Bars with Golden Grahams Cereal
My kids and I love to make our favorite Rice Krispies treats together on weekends. Any gooey marshmallow cereal bar puts a smile on their faces, so we love coming up with more recipes to try out. S’mores was their newest flavor request, and I knew Golden Grahams cereal would be the perfect base for these treats. It gives the bars a sturdier, crunchier texture compared to rice cereal. Plus it tastes like graham crackers, but holds up much better!
Filled with marshmallows, chocolate chunks, and a little bit of crunch, these treats really do taste just like a campfire s’more. It gives me the same satisfaction as my s’mores bars, but with no baking required. Just mix, chill, and slice these babies into gooey squares that are ready to share!

S’mores Golden Grahams Treats Recipe
Equipment
- 9×13 Baking Pan
Ingredients
- 6 cups mini marshmallows divided*
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter sliced; ½ stick
- 7 cups Golden Grahams **
- 1 cup chocolate chunks divided***
Instructions
- Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray. Set aside.
- Add 5 cups of marshmallows to a large microwave-safe mixing bowl and top it with the butter slices.5 cups mini marshmallows, 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Microwave on high for 1 minute, stirring halfway through. The marshmallows should be fully melted and combined into a smooth mixture.
- Add the Golden Grahams to the marshmallow mixture and stir until combined.7 cups Golden Grahams
- Fold in the remaining marshmallows and ½ cup chocolate chunks. Mix just until combined.1 cups mini marshmallows, 0.5 cup chocolate chunks
- Pour the mixture into the prepared 9×13 pan. Lightly grease your hands with some nonstick spray, and press down the mixture into the pan. Sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chunks on top.0.5 cup chocolate chunks
- Place the treats into the fridge for 1 hour to set.
- Once set, cut treats into squares and enjoy!
Notes
- Use fresh cereal and fresh marshmallows. Trust me — if they’re stale, you’ll really be able to tell.
- I recommend lining the pan with a sheet of parchment paper. This will make it easier to remove the treats once they’ve set.
- Toss some extra marshmallows in with the cereal for pockets of marshmallowy goodness!
- Gently press the bars into the pan. If packed too firm, they will become hard!
- Let the treats set for at least 1 hour before cutting to avoid a sticky mess!
How to Make S’mores Marshmallow Treats Step by Step
Prep: Gather the list of ingredients for this Golden Grahams s’mores bars recipe. Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray. You can also line the pan with a sheet of parchment paper to make slicing and removal easier.

Melt the Marshmallows: Pour 5 cups of mini marshmallows into a large microwave-safe mixing bowl, then top it with 4 tablespoons of butter (sliced). Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute, stirring halfway through. A rubber spatula is the best tool for this sticky mixture. Make sure the marshmallows are fully melted into a smooth consistency.

Add the Golden Grahams: Stir 7 cups of Golden Grahams cereal into the melted marshmallow mixture. Make sure the cereal pieces are well-coated, so they all stick together.

Fold in the Add-ins: Next, fold in the remaining 1 cup of mini marshmallows, and ½ cup of chocolate chunks. Mix just until combined and coated.

Press into the Pan: Pour the marshmallow cereal mixture into the prepared 9×13 pan. Lightly-coat your hands with some nonstick spray to prevent sticking, then press the mixture down into the pan. Press into an even layer, but don’t pack it down too tightly. Then sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of chocolate chunks on top.

Chill and Set: Place the pan of cereal treats into the fridge for at least 1 hour to set. This will make sure everything holds together, and will make them easier to slice.

Slice and Serve: Once set, cut your Golden Grahams treats into squares. Enjoy right away, or store them for later!

How to Store
Store s’mores cereal treats in a resealable bag, or wrap each one individually with plastic wrap. Keep at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the freezer for up to 6 weeks. If freezing, I recommend a double layer of plastic wrap for each bar, then store them all in a freezer-safe bag.
