Easily prepare a sweet and crunchy treat with this Cake Batter Puppy Chow recipe. You’ll only need a few ingredients and a bit of your time to put this fun dessert together.
Spread the yellow cake mix in an even layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for 5 minutes, or until the temperture reaches 160°F. This will prevent possible foodborne illness from consuming raw flour. Set aside to cool.
1 cup yellow cake mix
Pour the rice Chex in a large bowl.
8 cups Rice Chex cereal
Melt the white chocolate according to package directions.
8 ounces white melting chocolate
Pour the melted white chocolate over the Chex, and gently stir to fully coat the Chex.
Wait a couple of minutes for the chocolate to cool slightly, then gently stir in the sprinkles.
2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles
Add in the yellow cake mix and powdered sugar, and gently toss the Chex to fully coat them in the mixture.
