Notes

*Using a boxed brownie mix is the most convenient way to make this dessert. I love Ghirardelli, but any brand works. Of course, feel free to use homemade brownie batter too.
**Instead of making your own frosting, you can simply use a store-bought frosting. Whipped cream frosting is a great option too!
***Use any kind of fruit you love! Fresh berries, banana slices, kiwi, cherries, or pineapple all work great.
Becky's Top Tips:
  • If you're making this brownie dessert for Memorial Day or 4th of July, make it patriotic with a mix of blueberries and strawberries!
  • I recommend beating the cream cheese mixture for 5-7 minutes so that it is light and fluffy. If you simply combine, it can be dense and heavy.
  • For an extra twist, drizzle some caramel sauce on top to serve (or give people the option to use it on their slice).
Make Ahead: Bake the brownie "crust" as instructed, up to 24 hours in advance. Let it fully cool, then wrap it tightly with plastic wrap. Make the cream cheese frosting up to 24 hours in advance, then store in an airtight container in the fridge. Frost the brownie and top with fresh fruit to serve.
Storage: Store frosted pizza in the refrigerator for up to 4 hours. Store frosting and brownie crust separately in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Assemble and add fruit before serving.
