Ingredients

  • 14 ounces melting chocolate 397 grams
  • 8 ounces white chocolate 227 grams, divided
  • 16 ounces dry-roasted peanuts 448 grams

Instructions

  • Place the melting chocolate, 6 ounces of the white chocolate, and the peanuts in a crockpot on HIGH.

  • Cook for 1-2 hours or until chocolate is completely melted. While the chocolate melts, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • Stir the contents of the crockpot together until they are well combined.
  • Scoop spoonfuls of the chocolate-peanut mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Melt the remaining 2 ounces of white chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals.
  • Using a spoon, drizzle melted bark over peanut clusters. Chill until hardened.

Notes

  • Make sure to use the HIGH setting on the crockpot to get your candy to turn out right.
  • If you do not like peanuts or cannot have them, you can substitute them with other nuts, such as pecans or cashews.
  • You can also use your favorite crunchy cereal or pretzels in place of the nuts.
  • Use a spoon to help you drizzle the melted bark over your peanut clusters.
Storage: Store crockpot chocolate peanut candy in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, in the refrigerator for up to 1 month, or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
