Chocolate-Covered Peanut Cluster Candy

Peanut clusters are one of those old-fashioned candies that just fill me with nostalgia. Something about these little candies made simply with peanuts and chocolate gets everyone in the Christmas spirit! They have the perfect sweet, salty, and crunchy mix that makes them irresistible.

I’ve started making this homemade peanut candy in my Crockpot because it’s totally easy and hands-off. Just layer everything in the slow cooker, let it melt, and stir. Then I can scoop out some clusters and drizzle them with more chocolate for a decorative finish! They’re great for parties or Christmas gifts.

If you prefer a caramel and pecan candy, you’ll love my classic turtle candies!

Layer Ingredients for Even Melting

Here’s a professional trick: layer the ingredients instead of dumping them in all at once. Start with a layer of peanuts on the bottom, then add half the chocolate, more peanuts, and finish with the remaining chocolate on top. This method helps the chocolate melt evenly without scorching, and it makes for perfectly glossy, smooth peanut cluster every time.

How to Store

Store leftover crockpot peanut cluster candy in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, in the refrigerator for up to 1 month, or in the freezer for up to 6 months. Let thaw at room temperature before serving.
