- Copycat Recipe: This copycat Starbucks recipe replicates the real deal for a fraction of the price and doubles down on the deliciousness.

How to Make Java Chip Frappuccinos at Home
Be sure to see the recipe card below for full ingredients & instructions!
- Combine all of the ingredients in a blender.
- Blend all ingredients together until you reach the desired smooth consistency.
- Pour the frap into your favorite glass, top as desired, and enjoy immediately!

I recommend using a shot (or 2) of espresso, that way your blended concoction has a delicious amount of flavor and caffeine. If you don’t have an espresso machine at home, that’s okay too! A strongly brewed coffee will also do the trick.
I’ve found that I usually only need about 30 seconds to thoroughly blend the ingredients. However, all blenders are different! You may need a bit more or even less time. Just be sure to keep an eye for the short time that you’ll need, that way you don’t over or under-do it. Also, add more or less ice as you see fit.
This is one of those make it and enjoy it immediately recipes. When you freeze a frap, it becomes very solid due to the water content. I don’t recommend making this drink in advance.

Recipe Tips and Tricks
- Want even more coffee flavor? Instead of regular ice cubes, use frozen coffee cubes instead.
- I love topping my frap with whipped cream and chocolate syrup, just like they do at Starbucks. However, you can add so much more! Chocolate shavings, chocolate chips, and sprinkles will be tasty on top.
- Want it even creamier? Add just a splash of heavy whipping cream to your blender.

Blend this java chip Frappuccino at home for a sweet coffee treat that you don’t have to wait in line for.
