Dole Whip is a dairy-free soft-serve dessert created by Dole Food Company in 1984 for Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. The original pineapple flavor is best known, but there are 8 additional fruit flavors — cherry, mango, lemon, watermelon, orange, raspberry, strawberry, and lime.
While the original Dole whip is dairy-free, these popsicles are not. However, you can easily make them dairy-free by using your favorite dairy-free ice cream.
Yes! Simply blend the ingredients and enjoy right away. If you plan to freeze the Dole whip, I recommend making it into the popsicles, as it will freeze too hard to enjoy as soft-serve.
Creamy Fruit Popsicles
I love the flavor of these pineapple popsicles, but you can easily use other fruits that you like to mix things up. Mango would work perfectly with this recipe!
These ice cream popsicles are such a delicious treat, you’ll be making them all summer long! Super easy to whip up, your kids will enjoy helping you make these too!
If Dole Whip popsicles are your favorite Disney treat, you’ll love this easy homemade recipe. So simple, but so refreshing and tasty, this one is a no brainer!
Make Ahead Instructions
These popsicles can be made up to 3 weeks in advance of serving. Serve frozen.
Storage Instructions
Store Dole whip popsicles in the popsicle molds or in a Ziplock bag in the freezer for up to 1 month. Serve frozen.
No Popsicle Molds? No Problem!
To make popsicles without a mold, you’ll need small paper cups, popsicle sticks, and aluminum foil. Pour the popsicle mixture into the cups (leaving a bit of room at the top to allow for expansion), cover the cups with foil, and poke the popsicle sticks through (the foil will help hold the sticks in place as they freeze). Place the cups on a baking sheet or other stable surface in the freezer and freeze for 3-4 hours, or until solid. When ready to enjoy, simply peel away the cups!
