This easy 3-ingredient strawberry banana smoothie is the perfect healthy breakfast for me on busy weekdays. It’s super quick to throw together in just a few minutes, and it’s rich in healthy carbs, fiber, potassium, and vitamin C. I like to prep ahead by freezing my strawberries, bananas, and cubes of milk, and then placing them in labeled Ziplock bags. That way I always have the perfect serving size handy!

How to Store
Store a leftover strawberry banana smoothie in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. Mix or shake well before enjoying. For longer storage, pour the blended smoothie into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid. It will keep well this way for up to 1 month. Blend when ready to drink!
Tips for Success
- The consistency of the smoothie may be slightly thicker if you use whole milk. However, I think this smoothie is delicious made with milk, plant-based milk, coconut water, or regular water.
- Feel free to add Greek yogurt, protein powder, or chia seeds to amp up this healthy smoothie! These ingredients will also help thicken the smoothie.
- You can easily change up this simple strawberry banana recipe by using different fruits. Keep the banana to achieve that creamy consistency, but feel free to swap out the strawberries for blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, or pitted cherries. Or add them all!

- 1-2 cups ice

- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 scoop protein powder
