Ingredients
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter room temperature (1¼ sticks)
- 1¼ cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs room temperature
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1½ cups dark chocolate chips
- Sea salt flakes optional, for garnish

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream the butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.10 tablespoons unsalted butter, 1¼ cups brown sugar
